Two amazing days of football, competition, and most importantly, fun. ⚽ As our first-ever football tournament, we know there are things we can improve, but seeing so many young people come together, enjoy themselves, and create a great atmosphere made all the hard work worth it. Thank you to every team, player, supporter, volunteer, and everyone who spent the weekend with us. Congratulations to team MIRACLE for the win and Erand Ziba for the MVP! The positive feedback, the energy on and off the pitch shown throughout the tournament were exactly what we hoped to see. At the end of the day, tournaments like these are about much more than winning. They’re about bringing people together, creating memories, meeting new people, and building a stronger youth community in Struga. We hope everyone enjoyed the experience and we look forward to making future tournaments even bigger and better. And who knows ;) maybe next time some of you will join us not only as players, but as part of the organizing team as well. Thank you for being part of it. This is only the beginning.

PROJECT COMPLETED ✅ Earlier this year, Youth for Struga launched the City Care Action in cooperation with Public Utility Enterprise Komunalno Struga. Today, we are proud to announce the successful completion of this initiative. Together, we have installed waste bins across Struga and placed more than 100 awareness signs promoting environmental responsibility and respect for public spaces. This project was never just about bins and signs. It was about creating a cleaner city, encouraging civic responsibility, and showing that positive change is possible when young people, institutions, and citizens work together. Në fillim të këtij viti, Youth for Struga nisi aksionin “Kujdesi për Qytetin” në bashkëpunim me Ndërmarrjen Publike Komunale Strugë. Sot, me krenari njoftojmë përfundimin me sukses të kësaj iniciative. Së bashku kemi vendosur kosha për mbeturina në pjesë të ndryshme të Strugës dhe mbi 100 tabela ndërgjegjësuese që promovojnë kujdesin ndaj mjedisit dhe respektin për hapësirat publike. Ky projekt nuk kishte të bënte vetëm me koshat dhe tabelat. Ai kishte të bënte me krijimin e një qyteti më të pastër, rritjen e përgjegjësisë qytetare dhe dëshmimin se ndryshimi pozitiv është i mundur kur të rinjtë, institucionet dhe qytetarët bashkëpunojnë. На почетокот на оваа година, Youth for Struga ја започна акцијата „Грижа за градот“ во соработка со ЈП Комунално Струга. Денес со гордост го објавуваме успешното завршување на оваа иницијатива. Заедно поставивме корпи за отпад низ Струга и повеќе од 100 табли за подигнување на јавната свест за заштита на животната средина и почитување на јавните простори. Овој проект не беше само за корпите и таблите. Тој беше за создавање почист град, поттикнување на граѓанска одговорност и покажување дека позитивни промени се можни кога младите, институциите и граѓаните работат заедно.

Во соработка со @municipalityofstruga , @youthforstruga , INKA и @zdruzenieakva беа реализирани интерактивни работилници за деца, додека @buskerfestmacedonia донесе улични артисти, акробации и перформанси кои привлекоа големо внимание кај најмладите посетители. За добрата атмосфера во Паркот на поезијата во текот на денот се погрижи и @rootboy_selector со својот DJ сет, а посетителите имаа можност да уживаат и во Board Game Corner на @na.struga.dukjan Ви благодариме на сите партнери, волонтери, родители и деца што беа дел од програмата и придонесоа овој простор да биде исполнет со активности и дружење во текот на целиот ден. 💙🇪🇺 _______ 🎨🤹 Zona e fëmijëve në Ditën e Evropës në Strugë ofroi aktivitete për grupmosha dhe interesa të ndryshme. Në bashkëpunim me Komunën e Strugës, Youth for Struga, INKA dhe Zdruzenie Akva u realizuan punëtori interaktive për fëmijë, ndërsa BuskerFest solli artistë të rrugës, akrobaci dhe performanca që tërhoqën vëmendjen e madhe të vizitorëve më të vegjël. Për atmosferën e mirë në Parkun e Poezisë gjatë gjithë ditës u kujdes edhe Kukunes Tome me DJ set-in e tij, ndërsa vizitorët patën mundësinë të shijojnë edhe Board Game Corner nga Dukan. Faleminderit të gjithë partnerëve, vullnetarëve, prindërve dhe fëmijëve që ishin pjesë e programit dhe kontribuuan që ky hapësirë të jetë e mbushur me aktivitete dhe shoqërim gjatë gjithë ditës. 💙🇪🇺

🚨 REPORT ACTS OF VANDALISM. It is disappointing to see how easily some people choose to destroy things that are built for the benefit of everyone. Imagine someone visiting Struga and seeing a city that is trying to become cleaner, more modern, more aware of its environment and simply better. Instead of being proud of these improvements, someone chooses to damage them and make our city look neglected and backwards. These waste bins were not installed for decoration, nor for a single individual. They were placed here for our community, and future generations. Of course, we ask citizens to report these acts whenever they witness them. But the sad reality is that those who commit such acts often spend more time looking around to make sure nobody sees them than they would ever spend contributing something positive to their own city. What drives this kind of hatred toward public property that belongs to all of us? Instead of protecting and improving our surroundings, some choose to destroy them. This is not just damage to a waste bin. It is damage to the image of our city and to the efforts of everyone working to make Struga a better place. This damage will be repaired in the coming days. But to the people who can sleep peacefully at night knowing they chose to destroy something built for their own city: SHAMEEEE‼️ Struga deserves better. If you don’t want to be part of making this city better, at least don’t destroy the efforts of those who do.
